Abstract: One of the most prominent and established political parties in India is the National Congress. A.O. Hume's organizational tactics contributed to the party's formation in 1885. It met for the first time in Mumbai on December 28, 1885. W.C. Banerjee, the Indian National Congress Party's first president, presided over this session.
