Abstract: Environmental issues are an important part of international relations. The period 1970s and early 1980s comprised a period of extreme academic and popular interest in processes of environmental degradation: Global, Regional and Local. The reason of environmental degradation is the extreme utilization of technology and industrialization. Before the global expansion of an environmental degradation issue generally remained localized. In the 1970s due to the continues economic growth, the technological advancement and rising population in this period generated increasing energy and resource consumption. With result there was piling up of waste production, increasing pollution level and erosion of the earth’s biodiversity. The Green politics has re-explained some important concepts and discourses in international relations and global politics. The Green parties represent a new political challenge that includes the environmental protection at the top of the political agenda. The Green parties are a voice for the recent emerging issues and debates around both ‘environmentalism’ and ‘ecologism’. The period between 1955 and the late 1960s was of economic prosperity on the one hand, on the other hand it created pollution and the over-consumption of fertile land to assist the expansion of industry, housing and transportation. Throughout this period, nature continued to be valued as a resource for continued economic production. When nature was influenced by rapid, intensified economic and technological development, conservationists assert that nature’s protection was essential to public health and well-being. After world war second, population growth, scarcity of natural resources, soil erosion, drooping water tables and dissatisfaction across the world created the need for human society to understand and follow to nature’s limits. In the modern era history of Green parties or Green politics largely belongs to Europe. When we examine the contemporary history of Green politics, existed in Germany. The support for Green parties comes from youth mainly from students who were unsatisfied with their position in the society. The emergence of the Green party meant that the Green movement menace to attract the votes of the population at elections and so that diminish the basis for legitimation and power of the major parties. The aim of this paper is to analyze the reasons of the emergence of green politics and to examine its development in the world.
