The quest for identity in a deeply divided plural society savagely challenged the voyage of humanity. The larger identity group with its monolithic power continuously hegemonies the entire power sharing mechanism and the illusion of different choice less identity on the part of both majority and minority galvanize the situation. Certain sporadic layers of homeland discourses in order to get political space go beyond and take the path up to the height of accepting violent activities. One of the most contested terrains today is to see political space of smaller identity groups as a part of the broader issue of democratic governance. Frequent chaos created by the militant has been the source of insecurity to the present day BTAD at societal context. Ethnic assertion among different cultural identity groups created a situation of mistrust and instability which ultimately twisted with the plethora of violence. The juxtaposition of Bodos in preserving resources and creating opportunities basically reconfigure against the greater Assamese nationality, but in the present day circumstances plural numbers of conflicting elements spread the myriad of violence among different smaller identity groups residing within the BTAD area. The tales of restlessness and the narratives of sectarian violence evaporated shoddily in this area which utterly corroborated the violent picture of inhumanity. The minority especially religious minority in Bodoland have been experiencing with lots of troublesome period in the last three decades due to ethnic assertion on the part of Bodos and the rest which ultimately results in lots of Human Security Dilemma. This paper basically would like to focus on the plight of the religious minority in an ethnically defined territorial council i.e. BTAD.
