Abstract: The present study is on development programs among Scheduled Tribes confined to Guntur district in Andhra Pradesh. The primary data used in this study are subject to certain limitations and are based on the views and information provided by the sample beneficiaries. Since the sample size is limited to rural areas in the district, the suspicions taken from this study do not apply equally to the rest of the district as well as to other districts in the state. However, these tips are useful for policy makers to design and implement programs not only in other districts of the state but also in the country
